Quality Programme Accreditation
Global Trust is the independent and accredited EN45011 certification body for the Quality Trout Scheme with a team of expert food safety inspectors with no business links or interests with the companies that they inspect.
EN45011/ISO65 is now recognised as an international benchmark for product quality certification.
This EN45011/ISO65 standard deals with product and systems certification. A relevant National Accreditation Body audits certification activities to ensure that consumer requirements are met.
Audits are detailed and thorough. NAB alone decides whether the requirements of ISO 65 / EN45011 are being met by the Certification Body. Certification Bodies have no representation on it. It is therefore entirely separate from the activity of Certification.
Global Trust inspect the participating companies against the quality standard and offer certification to those companies that meet each clause of the standard.

In order to be of real value to the industry and consumer, a Quality Assurance Programme must be recognised by the consumer, as being operated competently, reliably and in a manner which reflects their interests (i.e. not unduly influenced by the producers of the product to which the Programme applies).
The EU has established a system in Europe (EN45011) which enables those operating Programme to prove that they meet such requirements and therefore achieve international recognition.
This standard is referred to as ISO 65 internationally.
